DC-area nonprofit combines 2 policies that will give low-income families thousands per month<\/a><\/blockquote><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/wtop.com\/dc\/2024\/11\/nonprofit-group-is-combining-two-liberal-policy-ideas-in-dc-how-successful-can-the-impact-be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cPathway to Economic Mobility, Prosperity and Family Wellness\u201d<\/a> involves 100 families scattered around D.C. who currently receive subsidized housing from the District. For the next two years, they\u2019ll be receiving $1,000 per month. On top of that, parents will get $1,000 they can put toward an IRA or emergency savings account.
